Riding again in 2027
Ten years after the first one, and eight years after the crash that made it complicated, I'm getting back on the bike for a long ride.
In 2017 I rode 3,333 miles across the country for people with disabilities. In 2019 a training crash put a hard stop on that chapter. Getting back has taken longer than I planned, which is most of why it's worth doing.

I expect to have most of this pinned down shortly. Rather than wait until it's all perfect, I'd rather say it out loud now — that's the part that makes it real.

Training notes will show up in Health, and the details land here as they firm up. If you want to know when that happens without checking back, the newsletter is the way.
Last time around, the thing that made the difference wasn't the training plan. It was telling enough people that backing out would have been more embarrassing than riding. Consider this that.
